Exit Motels debut album Flights of Gravity is released today. At the moment you can purchase the CD from Amazon in the UK or CDBaby.com in the US. It is also available for download from Indiestore.com. We are currently finalising a deal to have it available on iTunes, Napster and MSN Music. 
Hospital Man, the first single from the forthcoming album is available as a FREE download today from Indiestore.com and MySpace.com ExitMotel.com is launched is association with The Cardigan Suite. Dates have now been set for launch of debut single Hospital Man and new album Flights of Gravity. Hospital Man will be launched as a download only single on Monday 5th March, with the album Flights of Gravity being released in CD and download format on Monday 12th March.

WEEK 2, The time, 8 a.m., the place, Brickhill Woods.
The director had phoned and said he was four minutes into editing and wanted some more footage. He’d told Matt to meet him at Brickhill Woods the following morning. It was pretty muddy and Matt didn’t appear to be that impressed until the filming started. Just simple stuff, but great. One shot, a panoramic rotation around Matt, looked awesome on the monitor. I think it was the kind of footage the director had hoped for.
Before parting ways Matt suggested filming the drive back. Having spoken to Rich it was decided that shooting the journey to the studio where the track was recorded would be far more iconic. Everyone piled in the car and shot the reel. However, cars aren’t really meant for tripods!
WEEK 1, The time, 5 a.m., the place, Bournemouth public beachTwo cameramen, one director and two very cold members of Exit Motel. The shoot began with Matt & Rich being set out as far as possible in Bournemouth sea. Why 5 a.m.? The director insisted upon it and he was right! The sunrise was something else and was a perfect start to the day.
It would be fair to say it took almost an hour of play-back and gradual awakening before the Exit Motel pair came to form. When this first scene of the day resulted in footage of two silhouetted characters on an abandoned beach with the craziest of sunrises, we all knew this was gonna be a good day...
After a hard drive failure Tom has been back to Strongroom Studios and has completed the mastering of Flights of Gravity for the second time in a week. Many thanks to Tom for going out of his way to get it sorted for us.
Militant Management are making the trek across the channel to represent Exit Motel at this years Midem music conference.
